6 Sleepy Time Must Have’s

To sleep or not to sleep – that’s really not the question. I mean honestly, I would love to sleep far more than I currently do. Casper Mattresses (who make an amazingly comfortable bed that not only promises a better night sleep but it won’t kill your budget in the process) asked me to share what my beauty sleep routine looks like – and it got me thinking that it might be time for a bit of an overhaul. New year, new sleep routine. Below are a few of my favorite things as well as a few items that I am currently dreaming about.

Who wouldn’t sleep better with these adorable iconic ear plugs and eye mask? If only it came with a guarantee to look as gorgeous as Audrey Hepburn did when she first woke up in Breakfast at Tiffany’s.

2. Women’s Cotton Cupcake Pajamas $75 on Amazon.com
Comfort and cuteness go hand and hand with these cupcake pajamas. I’m always cold when I sleep so these are the perfect way to be cozy without looking drab for bedtime.

3. doTERRA Lavender Essential Oil
Just a few drops on your feet, temples or wrists and you will experience an immediate calming effect. Lavender essential oil has so many other uses from treating insect bites to cold sores – it is a great addition to anyones medicine cabinent.

4. Pinzon Velvet Plush Blanket $32.99 on Amazon.com
Nothing ruins a good nights sleep like not having a cozy blanket (especially in the winter and fall). I have one on my bed currently and cannot live without it – it’s like sleeping wrapped up in a giant marshmellow. Enough said?

Melatonin tablets are mother nature’s gift for a good night’s sleep. This drug-free sleep aid has also been shown to help maintain a healthy body weight and reduce anxiety, plus it’s non-habit forming.

This tea not only tastes divine but it also aids in getting you ready for bed time. A few sips and you will be on your way to sweet dreams.
